Medical Mystery Solved By a Dentist: This patient was suffering from headaches along with pain and numbness that was spreading throughout her body. She had multiple scans, tests, and doctor visits. The medical doctors could not figure out the cause of her pain. The medical doctors wanted to perform carpel tunnel surgery, but luckily the patient declined the surgery. She came to Dr. Rebecca Havel’s office for another opinion. We performed a few tests to come up with an accurate diagnosis. The procedure did NOT include the need for numbing, pills, surgery, or the use of an occlusal (mouth) guard. After the first part of the procedure was done, the patient no longer was experiencing headaches. Within 7 weeks, the patient no longer had pain or numbness… All of her symptoms were completely gone.
